Title: Crash Ride
Series: Power Station #2
Author: T. Gephart
Release Date: February 19, 2015
Synopsis
Megan
Winters had lusted over Troy Harris, drummer for international rock band Power
Station, for years. Not being the type of girl who was invited backstage, her
fantasies had stayed just that, fantasies. When her best friend unexpectedly
starts dating one of the other band members it puts her on a crash course at
war with her libido. Her solution— they need to have sex. Surely once she had
scratched that itch, and saw the fantasy didn’t live up to the reality she
could move on. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
MY REVIEW:
An ARC was graciously given via Give Me Books Blog in exchange for an honest review
WOW.
I’d have to really say that I love Troy Harris a teeny bit more than
Dan Evans. They were different personalities but I’m definitely rooting
for a Troy Harris in my life. This book has kept me up until three AM
(my fault since I started it late at night and was stupid enough to
think I can stop reading Troy freaking Harris) and I have no regrets!
With enchanting characters and the ever-fun dialogues mixed with tons of
heat, this book has totally crashed itself right into my favorites
shelf!
He wasn’t mine, he had never been mine and there would never be a time he would be.
Megs
was a completely badass character. The mix of sass and intellect could
really make a woman so dangerous and Meg owned that up throughout the
book. She had an obsession with Troy Harris ever since she knew about
Power Station. Somehow, that hot drummer with a Mohawk had managed to
own every inch of her hot dreams. But she was convinced that it was just
infatuation and it will be cured with a taste. Or two. Or hell, maybe
more.
But the minute that I had her, there was no way I could pretend she didn’t matter, that I didn’t want her.
Troy
Harris was Power Station’s drummer and that label had women flinging
themselves at him at all times. But never did he even imagine that he
would want one woman to continue flinging herself at him. Troy was very
different from Dan and I loved every bit of his personality. He was less
crass, and was very charming in a sexy good-ish guy kind of way. But
even if he wasn’t a full-blooded douche, Troy brought hot in a new
Mohawked, Star Wars geek kind of way.
“Where’s the fun in a smooth ride? I’d take crashing and burning with you than easy with someone else.”
I
totally loved how T. Gephart smoothly developed the strong connection
between Troy and Megs. It started out as fiery desire of bodily need and
interest that escalated into a deeper (still hot) passion-filled love.
In contrast to Dan and Ash’s banters, Troy and Megs had their own kind
teasing—nonsensical chitchats with a lot of feelings. I just really
found myself smiling and enjoying every bit of this story and that tinge
of heart break made that experience quite remarkable. T. Gephart
continues to entice me with her fun and fascinating characters, fired up
by her smart and refreshing writing prose.

Author Bio
T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.
T's approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.
With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.
While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.
An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn't lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past "colorful" experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don't have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn't let it go.
T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly enjoying the ride!
Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.
