**THIS IS A STAND ALONE BOOK**

A smokin’ hot British player…
A jilted girl…
One night of mistaken identity…

Two weeks before her wedding, Remi Montague’s fiancĂ© drops her faster than a drunken sorority girl in stilettos. Armed with her best friend and a bottle of tequila, she hops a plane to London to drown her sorrows before fall semester begins at Whitman University.

She didn't plan on attending a masquerade party.

She sure didn’t plan on waking up next to the British bad boy who broke her heart three years ago—the devastatingly handsome and naked Dax Blay. Furthermore, she has no clue how they acquired matching tattoos.

Once back at Whitman together, they endeavor to pretend they never had their night of unbridled passion in London.

But that’s damn hard to do when you live in the same house…

One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.

*A modern love story inspired by Romeo and Juliet*

My Review
5/5 stars!

I’m raising my white flag and surrendering to the Brits! Only Ilsa Madden-Mills knows the formula on perfectly mixing fun, angst, sexy, raw, and swoon in one jam-packed package. Filthy English ruined me good!

She’d wanted love although she’d never said it out loud.

Remi Montague needed an escape. She needed to empower herself after being jilted by her fiance. So off she goes to a trip to London, planning to start the empowering shit with bottles of tequila. Little did she know, she’d face a more challenging feat that posed a threat deeper than her pride. She was going to fight her own heart. Remi was my spirit heroine. This woman was charged with so much sass and fun, tinged with a bit of broken. But god, does she shine with her own passion and beauty. She was a woman in a mission and she was determined to succeed on it.

"Once you’ve had Dax, you never go back.”

Dax Blay was a Tau and a Tau never mixes with Omega business. But there was one Omega business that made him want to fuck all the rules because she was his. Most would think Dax was an all-out alpha man made with every woman’s fantasy; hot, rough, and filthy rich. Don’t get me wrong, he’s all that, too. But other than the obvious heat this man exudes, it was in times when he was vulnerable and off-guard that I absolutely loved him. Dax was an intimidating man when he’s being his usual self. But Dax consumed by passion is a ceaseless flame.

Dax is a temporary guy and I’m a forever girl, and the two didn’t go together. Ever.

There was so so so many emotions in this book and it sort of made me feel wonderfully crazy. There will never be an Ilsa Madden-Mills book that can be easily put down. Whatever emotion this woman writes consumes me. Filthy English was such a roller-coaster of emotions that had me wanting, crying, anticipating and downright feeling. The complexity of the characters weren’t hard to get into. Miss Ilsa made it so easy to delve into their depths, making every emotion so poignant and palpable. The push and pull between Dax and Remi was something that upped my high on this book! There was an unspoken passion between them and exploring it was a beautiful experience. Thus, with a heart so full of satisfaction, I hereby surrender myself to the Brits. I’ve been conquered!
