BOOK REVIEW: Wherever It Leads by Adriana Locke

Title: Wherever It Leads
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 16, 2016

Blurb

Smooth. Sexy. Irresistible.

Those qualities equal only one thing.

Big. Freaking. Trouble.

Brynne Calloway knows that anything that seems too good to be true usually is. Fenton Abbott and his cashmere voice, Adonis body, and a magnetism like no other clearly falls into that category. But what’s life without a little risk?

It was supposed to be a rebound, an uncomplicated escape from reality. But nothing ever goes as planned. Fenton turns out to be so much more … in ways Brynne never sees coming.

My Review
4.5 stars

Adriana Locke continuously slays me with her addicting writing prose. Wherever It Leads adds up to the pile of unforgettable and heart-stealing stories she's written. This book's hotness level spiked up from the usual Adriana Locke book and each bit of it is delicious!

What I feel for Fenton is wrapped around some deep part of my consciousness and it doesn’t just hurt–it aches.

Fenton Abbott is like a delicious mix of Max and Cane--only crasser and dirtier...a really sophisticatedly hot kind of crass and dirty. I love that roughness and fanciness of his character. Like everything he says--no matter how kinky--sounds so sweet and sincere. This man knows what he wants and how he wants to get it. He's sexy, responsible, sweet, and naughty. All the right qualities needed to make any woman bend.

“I like it when you’re bossy,” he tells me. “You get all fired up and that goes straight to my cock.”

Brynne Calloway is in a mission to get loose and completely forget a failed relationship.A woman set to go her own way and spice her life, Brynne takes a couple of risks with the dreamy Fenton Abbott.I really really love Brynne's character. In a way, she was a woman who embodied most of us but she also contained the courage and ferocity that a lot of us wish for. She was sophisticated, sexy, and sassy, but she was mostly relatable, a character every romance reader would love.

"I want to feel justified in wanting to protect you and calling you mine. Not in some trophy way or in some barbaric way either. Just being proud that a man like me could manage to snag a girl like you.”

This is, by far, Adriana Locke's hottest book! The sexy level of this book was over-the-top but still, she clearly embarks her sweet and serene trademark in this story. The main characters were hot together, every page sizzling with their undeniable chemistry. There was also a consistent intensity of feels throughout the book. The fun, the heat, and the suspense were all equally fervent that made the book hard to put down.

She's done sweet, sassy, tough, rough, and now she does suspenseful and sexy and still, she elicits the same jam-packed experience. Adriana Locke continuously proves that she's a gem in the romance industry.
